Position Summary:
As a Nurse at our Hospice Houses, you would remain up-to-date on the plan of care for all IPU patients by working with interdisciplinary team to anticipate and meet patient needs; serve as the RN member, for the designated shift, of interdisciplinary teams to meet specific plan of care goals; coordinate closely with related disciplines to ensure professional service delivery. This position will work 72 hours per pay period (3, 12-hour shifts per week).

Position Requirements:
  • A Diploma or Associates Degree in nursing required; Bachelor Degree preferred.
  • Current, active, and unrestricted NC license as Registered Nurse (RN). Current CPR required; CHPN preferred
  • Minimum 1 year related experience. Experience in direct care of patients with life limiting illnesses required. Related experience may include hospice and palliative care; family medicine; internal medicine; geriatrics, oncology; home health care; medical surgical
  • Computer proficiency required
