Days - Wed, Saturday & Sunday's
Admissions RN supports the daily function of the Admissions Department in collaboration with the Admissions Director . Lead Admissions RN is responsible for shift assignments for each clinician and nurse on shift and designating tasks as needed ensuring the operations of the shift . In addition, the Lead Admissions RN will perform all duties of an Admissions R ; completes assessments for patient admissions . Responsible for all referrals; provides information to individuals, agencies, facilities and professional staff (i.e., physicians, cons ulting professionals), requests information regarding potential admissions, develops and/or maintains relationships with ongoing referral sources to alternate tre atment resources when appropriate; completes insurance verification and pre-certifications as applicable; participates in crisis and safety interventions as needed; assists in performance improvement/quality measurement activities as assigned.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications
Education:
Associate degree in Nursing.
Experience:
Two (2) years' experience in behavioral health setting preferred.
License / Certification:
Current North Carolina or compact state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Physical requirements:
Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for sedentary work. Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job is rated light work when it requires: (1) walking or standing to a significant degree; (2) sitting most of the time while pushing or pulling arm or leg controls; or (3) working at a production rate pace while constantly pushing or pulling materials even though the weight of the materials is negligible.
