This position is primarily remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while interacting with school-based staff and students. You will collaborate closely with teachers, school administrators, and other mental health professionals to create an integrated support system for students.

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments for students to identify their mental health needs through interviews, surveys, and analysis of reports.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices that target specific mental health challenges faced by students.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing solution-based and trauma-informed approaches to foster healing and growth.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation using our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, school nurses, and special education staff, to provide comprehensive support for students.
• Educate students and families about mental health issues and available resources, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journey.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in the field of mental health to continually enhance your practice and the services we offer.

You will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents dealing with various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma-related challenges. Your role will involve not only direct service to students but also consulting with families to deliver holistic support that enhances their emotional and psychological well-being.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Maryland.
• Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions and a strong understanding of child psychology.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills to effectively engage with a diverse population.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, ideally in a school or educational environment.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation practices.
• Experience with families and students from varied cultural backgrounds and socio-economic circumstances.
