Job description

Associate Director, Program Management (2 Openings), IQVIA Inc., Durham, NC. May telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. and report electronically to the IQVIA Durham HQ office location. Plan, develop, coordinate, and assist with project activities through all project phases. Allocate, obtain, and manage resources and project management tools to achieve project objectives. Create and implement assessment processes to enforce timely completion of programs in accordance with established standards and requirements. Define and validate the project/program scope, plan, and schedule for complex projects. Define metrics for project success. Select and apply standards (e.g., delivery process, roles and responsibilities, operational norms, compliance). Identify risks to program success and create mitigation plans, track portfolio performance indicators. Manage project delivery process, scope, and costs of complex projects with minimal supervision, drive completion of the project and mentor other team members. Establish partnerships with stakeholders to build support, secure sponsorship, and ensure alignment for project outcomes, end products, and/or solutions. Drive change by identifying impacts of the project, building awareness and support for change within the organization, and contributing to the development of training. Evaluate project results against success metrics. Create or reengineer processes and resources to improve productivity and product. M - F, 40 hours/week. Salary Range: $154,465 - $228,700/year. Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, electronic engineering, or related field or foreign equivalent. Requires five (5) years of progressively responsible software project management experience to include five (5) years with the following: leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics; utilizing Agile development framework to drive and complete overall process improvement and project management responsibilities; strategic program planning, stakeholder alignment, and risk management to ensure successful outcomes across cross-functional teams; and integrating Agile and traditional delivery approaches to maximize business value.
