As a Senior Associate - Product Owner on the Asset Wealth Management (AWM) Product & Transformation Team, you will be responsible for defining the vision of a product, managing the product backlog, and ensuring the development team delivers value to the business and customers. This role acts as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, translating business requirements into actionable tasks.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy to stakeholders and the development team.
  • Gather, prioritize, and refine requirements from business stakeholders, customers, and users.
  • Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it is visible, transparent, and clear to all.
  • Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensure the team understands requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, etc.) to deliver high-quality products.
  • Make decisions regarding product features, enhancements, and releases based on business value and customer needs.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring the product meets user expectations and delivers value.
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, providing feedback and clarifications as needed.
  • Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and iterate on the product to improve outcomes.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership.

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in product management, business analysis, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps).
