VCA Northwest Veterinary Specialists (NWVS) is seeking an experienced Client Service Representative to join our team!
Compensation: $ 21/ hr, Starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our front desk team! As a CSR, you will be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, ensuring a welcoming and positive experience. Your role is essential in supporting our veterinary team by managing appointments, client communication, and administrative tasks.
Schedule: Full-time, including some weekends and holidays
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and via email.
  • Schedule appointments, manage patient check-ins/check-outs, and process payments.
  • Educate clients on hospital services, wellness plans, and pet care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and handle administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Assist in handling client concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Work collaboratively with veterinary teams to ensure smooth hospital operations.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Previous experience in a customer service or veterinary setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and scheduling software.
  • Passion for animals and a commitment to client education.

Requirements:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and be exposed to hazards such as allergies, contagious diseases, noises, odors, bites, scratches and animal waste.
  • Ability to sit at a work station for long periods of time.
