What You'll Do

As Project Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams to successfully execute new product development programs while serving as the primary point of coordination between engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the planning and execution of new product development projects from concept through production launch.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, quality plans, and phase-gate milestones.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Test Engineering.
  • Manage design reviews, risk assessments, validation plans, DFMEA/PFMEA activities, and project documentation.
  • Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans to ensure successful project execution.
  • Provide regular project status updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with customers throughout the product development process to ensure expectations are met.
  • Support prototype builds, product testing, supplier development, and manufacturing readiness activities.
  • Drive the successful transition of new products into full-scale manufacturing.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; Engineering degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience leading cross-functional technical teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical components.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting aggressive schedule, technical, and cost objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing new product development projects.
  • Experience within battery, electronics, aerospace, defense, medical device, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with Stage-Gate product development processes, DFMEA/PFMEA, validation planning, and product qualification activities.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
