Description:

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for all phases involved in the design, build and/or development of custom turnkey automation projects in markets including Automotive/Transportation, Healthcare/Medical, Consumer Goods, Electronics, Energy and Food & Beverage. Working closely with diverse, multi-disciplined, cross functional teams, the PM will initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control and closeout projects. The PM will have the ability to manage a minimum annual portfolio size of $7M independently. The PM’s primary objectives are to manage project scope and scope changes, performance to schedule and budget as defined by customer contracts and Calvary policies and procedures.

The Project Manager serves as the lead customer contact, regularly communicating throughout all phases of the project.

Requirements:

Successful candidates will have excellent communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to collaborate effectively in a technical matrix project-based organization.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks that jeopardize project scope, schedule, cost, & customer satisfaction
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., project management, engineering) from an accredited university is preferred

Strong understanding of project management methodologies, software, tools and techniques; Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is desired

  • 10+ years of experience managing multiple projects portfolio up to $7M
  • 10+ years of experience in an electro-mechanical, custom design-build environment
