Project Manager- Multifamily – Lead Ground-Up and Multi-Family Construction for GLC Business Services


Job Overview

The Opportunity

You will serve as a premier operational leader, directing multiple high-profile ground-up and multi-family construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout. This high-impact role gives you the autonomy to manage substantial budgets and complex timelines while directly mentoring a dedicated project team. You will drive both project profitability and client satisfaction within an established company that actively invests in your professional growth.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Lead, direct, and coordinate project teams to ensure peak operational efficiency and adherence to company standards.
  • Drive project profitability and timely execution by developing and actively managing comprehensive master project schedules.
  • Solicit, negotiate, and execute contracts with key subcontractors, vendors, and raw material service providers.
  • Manage overall project costs by reviewing change orders and preparing monthly cost-to-complete financial projections.
  • Foster and maintain deep client relationships to guarantee complete customer satisfaction and protect future business retention.
  • Provide ongoing leadership, performance support, and dedicated mentorship to Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Deep project management experience leading complex, multi-phase structural developments safely and within budget.
  • Profound knowledge of construction documents, architectural blueprints, local building codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with Procore, or similar software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary for high-level client collaboration and business development.
  • Absolute willingness to travel up to 50% to various regional project sites.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of related construction project management experience.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related engineering field.
  • Valid OSHA 30 certification
  • Proven track record managing ground-up and wood frame multi-family structural projects.
  • High level of proficiency utilizing Procore software for schedule tracking, cost-coding, and team documentation.
  • Demonstrated history of supervising staff and contributing to community engagement or recruitment initiatives.
