Position Summary
The Associate Project Manager supports the successful execution of automation and
controls projects by assisting Project Managers with project coordination, scheduling,
documentation, customer communication, and administrative activities. This role is
designed for individuals beginning their project management career and provides hands-on experience managing project deliverables while developing the knowledge and skills
required to advance into a Project Manager role.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
-Support Project Managers in planning, execution, and closeout of assigned projects.
-Set-up projects using NetSuite and Wrike
-Review project documentation.
-Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules.
-Coordinate project documentation and customer correspondence.
-Track milestones and follow up with internal teams.
-Coordinate meetings and action items.
-Assist with customer communications.
-Support quality control and project closeout.
-Assist Finance with billing documentation.
-Maintain project records and prepare status reports.
Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
-0-2 years of relevant experience.
-Willingness to obtain PMP Certification
-Demonstrate ability to work with remote team members and manage vendors or
subcontractors
-Strong organizational, communication, and Microsoft Office skills.
-Strong detail-oriented work style
-Valid driver's license
Travel
Up to 5-10% of travel to customer sites
