POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager / Project Coordinator to support project teams in the successful execution of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

This role is ideal for a motivated construction professional looking to grow within a highly respected commercial construction environment. The successful candidate will assist with project coordination, subcontractor communication, scheduling, document control, procurement, and overall project administration while working closely with Project Managers and field leadership.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist Project Managers with daily project coordination and administration

Support subcontractor and vendor communication throughout all phases of construction

Manage RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and project documentation

Track procurement schedules, material deliveries, and project timelines

Coordinate with Superintendents and field teams to support project execution

Assist with budget tracking, change orders, and cost management activities

Participate in project meetings and maintain accurate reporting

Support project closeout activities including punch lists, warranties, and turnover documentation

Help maintain project schedules and monitor milestone progress

Ensure documentation and reporting are organized and up to date


QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of experience in commercial construction project coordination or project management support preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment

Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation

Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and project management software preferred

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
