Job description

Audubon Companies is currently seeking a Facility Integrity Operations Manager to join our team. The Facility Integrity Operations Manager will support and grow Facility Integrity service line, reporting directly to the Director of Facility Integrity. This position includes focus on executing inspection projects, developing and maintaining client relationships, recruiting and mentoring personnel, and expanding service capabilities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company and client safety standards.
  • Manages and oversees project managers and technicians.
  • Responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and training new inspection technicians.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of field crews.
  • Coordinate logistics, equipment, and scheduling of projects.
  • Verify and maintain technician certifications/qualifications prior to assignment of field work.
  • Ensure quality standards are met.
  • Engage in business development, including client interface, proposal support, and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Responsible for profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization across service line.
  • Develops and implements strategic objectives for the team that are aligned with the service line's strategic initiatives.
  • Helps create segment forecasts and broad-based financial picture for service line.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in NDE or inspection of facilities, pipeline, terminals, or industrial settings
  • 4+ years in supervisory experience
  • Experience with both conventional and advanced NDE methods preferred
  • Familiarity with managing crews, client relationships, and report quality assurance
  • Competency in technical report writing and client communication
  • Ability to mentor personnel and support technician development
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel
