As a part of our Procurement Operations Team, the Manager of Operations Support (Telecommunications) owns the execution of national purchasing workflows, network infrastructure fulfillment, and digital procurement platforms. You will bridge the gap between technical network engineering teams and commercial suppliers. Your primary objective is to manage the end-to-end requisition-to-pay (R2P) lifecycle for critical telecom categories, drive the integration of autonomous procurement technologies, and optimize total cost of ownership (TCO) across complex network assets. A successful candidate can play an instrumental role in strengthening the company’s growth profile and adaptability by taking on special projects at the moment’s notice and quickly focusing on identifying issues and solutions. This is a unique individual growth opportunity to get involved in a variety of projects and initiatives that involve interaction with the leaders and subject matter experts across multiple business units and functional areas. The position requires an individual that can efficiently manage multiple projects at once while keeping others focused and bringing all projects across the finish line in a timely manner. The Manager should be capable of independently communicating with executives in both formal and informal scenarios. Specifically, this role will serve as a key liaison between the business and the field.


Essential Job Functions

Responsible for providing support in operations management over multiple projects.

Evaluate business processes, control structures, and the effectiveness of the controls.

Understand the needs of various business teams and cross-team dependencies turning needs into executable reporting meeting business objectives.

Assist various business teams on execution by mentoring, training and coaching teams on programs and new business process improvements.

Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Consulting with IT to positively influence the design and implementation of system functionality to support the process and data improvement initiatives.

Minimum of 5 years of related experience.

The ability to think critically & analytically and make sound decisions to effectively drive important project issues to effective.

Ability to get up to speed quickly on new concepts.

Ability to work independently and in team environments with leaders and subject matter experts across various business units and functional areas.

Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to distill and communicate complicated business issues and drive solution creation.

Must be intrinsically motivated (cannot require constant support/supervision)

Must be dedicated to helping to improve business processes and outcomes with a bias for action, rather than waiting to be told what to do.

Competent multitasker, juggling numerous balls without letting any drop executing at the high bar you have for yourself.

Must have a desire to help the company grow, thrive, and succeed.

Strong knowledge of the fiber infrastructure and/or telecommunications industry would be a strong plus. At a minimum, an ability to learn a new industry quickly is necessary.

Proficiency in Netsuite preferred but not required.

Bachelor’s degree preferred

MBA or other graduate work is desirable
