Position Overview:

Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department within a large short-term rental operation. Must have hospitality housekeeping and short-term rental management experience. No exceptions. This position is The Service Companies’ on-site account manager and represents the face of The Service Companies to the client.

Essential Duties:

  • Responsible for the overall management of the housekeeping department to include room turn times, customer service scores and profitability
  • Manages a base of up to 50 employees
  • Ability to effectively track “piece pay” data points
  • Key interface between client property senior management and The Service Companies Senior Management
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct Publicly recognizes and rewards employees
  • Follows and teaches all required safety and standard operating procedures
  • Adheres to all company and regulatory policies. Reports any wrongdoing to corporate headquarters in Miami, Florida
  • Works weekends, holidays, rotating shifts and long hours
  • Ensures new employees follow the company training plan
  • Ensures proper documentation is completed as necessary
  • Ensures payroll is completed daily based on The Service Companies’ on-demand pay model
  • Smiles and is friendly when interacting with co-workers, guests and property employees
  • Follows and teaches all required safety and standard operating procedures
  • Acts as a role model to other The Service Companies employees

Skills and Abilities:

  • 7+ years prior housekeeping management experience in a Short-Term Rental Management
  • Ability to understand, analyze and manage the monthly P&L
  • Ability to speak publicly addressing a large group
  • Ability to push and pull 50 pounds
  • Ability to remain standing for extended periods of time
  • Must meet company and client’s appearance standards
  • Ability to work with a variety of cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Ability to perform all duties as required with or without an accommodation
  • Ability to motivate and respect a diverse team of hourly employees
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to commute within the Miami Metro area required
  • Spanish fluency required
