As an Associate Key Account Manager in our Technology Consulting Division in Raleigh, you will join a team that is expanding and building โ€” with real opportunity to shape your market from the ground up. WHAT YOUโ€™LL ACTUALLY DO

Business Development & Client Partnership

  • Apply a relationship-based sales approach to build and maintain a successful book of business
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities โ€” push beyond the obvious and experiment with fresh approaches to expand your client portfolio
  • Understand client needs deeply and drive a relentless pursuit of solving their challenges with the right solution at the right time
  • Negotiate B2B contracts with integrity and see initiatives through to delivery
  • Cross-sell strategically and drive value in every client engagement
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices; share knowledge and insights with clients and colleagues

Recruitment & Delivery

  • Evaluate and place highly skilled IT professionals to match client requirements
  • Grow contractor headcount for your designated market and take action on leads passed
  • Follow up with pipeline and placed candidates to grow your professional network
  • Collaborate with the Hays delivery team to ensure quality outcomes for clients and candidates
  • Represent Hays at networking events to build stronger connections in your market

Growth & Development

  • Progress through the 24-week training program covering candidate engagement, business development, pipeline management, and strategic communication
  • Master tools including OneTouch and Sales Planner to run an efficient, high-performing desk
