This role leads moderate to complex configuration initiatives, evaluates upcoming Workday features, and drives continuous improvement across assigned HCM domains.Building on deep Workday functional expertise, the HRIS Analyst anticipates business needs, delivers scalable solutions, and plays a key role in shaping how Workday supports the organization's people and processes.Please see below for specific responsibilities and requirements for this role.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:The responsibilities for this role are below; you may support projects of varying complexity based on skill and organizational priorities.Workday Configuration Leadership:
  • Lead configuration, testing, validation, and deployment of system changes across multiple Workday modules such as Core HR, Benefits, Talent, and Advanced Compensation.
  • Own complex business process designs, configuration logic, calculated fields, and mass data updates.
  • Ensure configuration aligns with system governance, best practices, and enterprise design principles.
Consultative Partnership with COEs and HRBPs:
  • Act as a HRIS partner to assigned COEs, gathering requirements, providing solution options, and performing impact analysis.
  • Translate business needs into usercentered Workday solutions and provide guidance on process optimization.
  • Influence decisionmaking by presenting risks, benefits, and alternatives.
Workday Releases, Enhancements & Innovation:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday releases, evaluating new functionality and identifying opportunities for system or process improvement.
  • Recommend and help prioritize enhancements that improve HR service delivery. Sharing knowledge with HR colleagues and the Workday team to build broader Workday capability.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
  • Lead testing for integrations, security, benefits, payroll, compensation, and other annual
  • cycle events.
  • Oversee UAT cycles, troubleshoot issues, and validate functional changes before deployment.
  • Ensure all changes are thoroughly tested across upstream and downstream processes.
Data Stewardship & System Maintenance:
  • Maintain master data values in Workday, including job profiles, job families, roles, organizations, and locations.
  • Conduct data audits, resolve discrepancies, and ensure strong data governance practices.
  • Partner with IT stakeholders and technical teams on integrations, security updates, and system fixes.
Project & Workstream Leadership:
  • Lead small project teams or functional workstreams during enhancements, major updates, or crossfunctional initiatives.
  • Coordinate across HR COEs, HR Operations Shared Services, IT partners, and external partners to ensure smooth execution of Workday changes.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to junior HRIS analysts.
Other Duties:
  • Performing other duties as assigned, adapting to new tasks or shifts in priorities as necessary to support your team's and the company's mission.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Three + years of handson experience with Workday HCM across multiple modules preferred.
  • HR functional and systems experience, with strong understanding of HR processes and data.
  • Experience leading configuration work, testing cycles, or project workstreams.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Qualified candidates will possess a moderate degree of proficiency (typically from three to five years of work or practical experience), in: Workday Configuration Expertise: Ability to configure and manage business processes, master data structures, and modulespecific functionality.
  • Advanced HR Systems Analysis: Strong requirements gathering, impact analysis, and documentation capabilities.
  • Testing & Validation Leadership: Experience designing test plans and overseeing UAT cycles.
  • CrossFunctional Collaboration: Proven ability to partner with HRBPs, COEs, HRIT, and technical teams.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to all audiences.
