We look for prior experience in media analytics, especially digital media. We hope you're a numbers whiz and know how to bring data to life through a compelling story. You should already be used to representing your team to external clients, since Associate Directors are often the face of our brand.

Responsibilities

Role Objectives:

Working closely with both the Business Planning and Activation teams, the Associate Director, Analytics will contribute to the design of the data strategy to tie our clients' marketing to real-world business goals. Our Associate Directors work very closely with their team of analysts to help them stay on track with day-to-day client deliverables. They also contribute crucial intellectual capital by designing measurement plans based on their client's business needs, using data to tell great stories. Associate Directors also work closely with their Director and VP to build an Analytics strategy and execute on that plan in accordance with their team. This role reports directly into the Director, Analytics.ย 

Qualifications
  • Education & Experience
  • B.A. or B.S., preferably in a quantitative field
  • 6+ years of experience working in a media focused analytics capacity with some agency experience preferred
  • Comfortable and able to communicate complex ideas simply to senior level internal and external partners
  • Ability to develop frameworks, processes, learning agendas, and steer complex analytics projects to a successful delivery.
  • The ability to effectively manage and develop a large team of talented individuals by providing effective oversight, coaching, and guidance.
  • Understanding of a broad range of online and offline media channels such as TV, OTT, Social, Direct, and Programmatic Digital, as well as subject matter expertise in at least one of these areas.
  • Ability to service clients, partners, and internal stakeholders by understanding their needs, translating those needs into creative solutions, and delivering on those solutions with diligence and a sense of urgency
  • Familiarity with several the following data sources/types: Ad Servers (ex. DoubleClick), website analytics tools (ex. Google Analytics & Adobe Site Catalyst), Ad verification partners (ex. Double Verify & Moat), TV Measurement (ex. Nielsen & iSpot)
  • Familiarity with at least one of the following 3rd Party Media Measurement Solutions: MMM, Multi-touch Attribution, Brand/Sales Lift, Brand Health Tracking
  • Advanced Excel skills (macros, advanced formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Optional/Desirable: Working knowledge of any BI Visualization Tool (ex. Tableau, PowerBI, Spotfire, etc.)
  • Optional/Desirable: Experience working with at least one of the programming languages (Python, R, SAS, SQL)
  • Optional/Desirable: Experience with the following advanced analytics methods: A/B or Matched Market Testing, linear regression, cluster analysis, neural nets, random forests, conjoint analysis
