Job Summary:
Supernus Pharmaceuticals is an award-winning biopharmaceutical company with more than 30 years of experience in developing and commercializing products that treat central nervous system (CNS) diseases. The Associate Director, Data Analytics defines and executes study-level data and analytics strategies for monitoring clinical study conduct and performance, leading the analytics team to transform complex data into meaningful insights.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Define and execute the clinical study level data and analytics strategy to align with clinical development and operational objectives.
โ€ข Establish standards for data integration, metric definition, visualization design, and reporting consistency across studies.
โ€ข Lead the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of the clinical analytics platform (using, e.g., Power BI or other visualization tools).
โ€ข Lead cross-functional consensus on key metrics and supervise dashboard development to ensure usability, scalability, and relevance to each clinical study.
โ€ข Drive automation and optimization of analytics workflows to reduce manual reporting.
โ€ข Deliver study-level analytics that support risk-based monitoring (RBM), data quality oversight, enrollment tracking, protocol compliance, and operational performance.
โ€ข Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through advanced analytics and visualization techniques.
โ€ข Manage and/or mentor team members in data visualization best practices, analytical methodologies, and business communication.
โ€ข Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Masterโ€™s degree with at least 9 years OR Bachelorโ€™s degree with at least 11 years of experience in clinical and/or operational data analytics
โ€ข Strong expertise in Power BI for enterprise-level data visualization
โ€ข Demonstrated experience in translating complex clinical and operational data into actionable insights for cross-functional stakeholders
โ€ข Proven experience building centralized data warehouse systems that store and integrate large volumes of structured data from multiple sources (e.g., EDC systems, CTMS, Safety databases)
โ€ข Proven ability to lead and develop analytics teams while driving cross-functional alignment
โ€ข Strong communication and executive presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-making
โ€ข Ability to work independently and as part of a team and maintain high ethical standards of integrity and quality
โ€ข Ability of having an innovative and dynamic approach to work
โ€ข A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment
โ€ข Ability to consistently exhibit Supernus Values in interactions with employees at all levels of the organization, vendors, customers and others
โ€ข Capable of performing other duties as assigned by Management
โ€ข Authorized to legally work in the United States without visa sponsorship
โ€ข Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or carrying objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time
