Job description

As an Associate Channel Marketing Manager supporting the Walmart account, you will execute channel and customer plans with a focus on item setup, data management, and planogram development. You will support assortment, pricing, and promotional execution through cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product Development, Finance and Operations. This role ensures accuracy across systems, supports the sales team, and helps address day-to-day customer and business needs as they arise.
Responsibilities:
  • Support execution of the Walmart account to help deliver sales and profitability goals
  • Perform item setup, maintenance, and data entry with a high level of accuracy across Walmart supplier systems
  • Maintain item data integrity and ensure timely updates within Walmart platforms
  • Utilize Walmart systems including Retail Link, Scintilla, and E-Halo
  • Own RFID setup and tracking to ensure compliance with Walmart requirements
  • Assist with private brand packaging updates using ProSpace
  • Partner with Sales and internal teams to support new item launches and assortment changes
  • Assist with pricing and promotional setup to ensure accurate execution in systems
  • Support the sales team with reporting, item information, and day-to-day needs
  • Prepare data and materials to support the development of customer presentations and line reviews
  • Manage day-to-day coordination of business activities with Sales, Product Development, Finance, and Operations
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of programs and item setups
  • Identify and escalate issues or inefficiencies to improve overall execution

Requirements:
  • 1-3+ years of experience in Channel Marketing, Trade Marketing, Sales Operations, or Commercial Planning, preferably in Consumer Packaged Goods.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Prior experience working with Walmart or Walmart supplier systems required
  • Experience working with syndicated data (e.g., IRI, Circana) and customer POS data.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for pricing, margin analysis, and data management.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint for building customer presentations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment with evolving priorities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Benefits:
US$72,000.00 - US$80,000.00 Annually
Final compensation offered will be determined based on a number of job-related factors, including the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications. Employees in this role are eligible to participate in the company's benefits program, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company matching, accrued vacation, floating holidays, and designated company holidays.
