JOB Posting

JOB TITLE: Maintenance Associate

DEPARTMENT: Maintenance

REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager or General Manager

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Maintenance Associate’s primary responsibility is the quality and upkeep of the marina. This person will perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. They will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. The Maintenance Associate projects a professional company image through all types of interactions. As this is a fast-paced environment, must be able to work under pressure.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)
  2. Provides the highest level of customer and guest services, expedites any and all maintenance requests from management.
  3. Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls and any other marina specific duties that are requested
  4. Uses hand tools and power tools in making minor maintenance repairs and maintaining grounds and walks.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  1. Prior maintenance experience preferred, not required
  2. Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings
  3. Must have highly effective communication skills and time management skills
  4. Excellent attention to detail
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) pounds
  2. Must be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergency
  3. Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally
  4. Must be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the property to include weekends and holidays as needed.

$18.00 - $26.00HR
