Job description

Jasco is looking for a Channel Graphic Designer that performs the production of displays, artwork, product packaging configurations, trade shows and sales information for new and existing products.  Provides marketing support materials for company sales efforts.

  • Works closely with Display & Packaging Coordinator to organize upcoming tasks and projects.
  • Design merchandising materials to include displays, racks, headers, stickers, sales brochures, counter cards or signage. 
  • Responsible for designing displays and producing renderings for both Retail and Club Stores to best merchandise product. Interprets and understands customer’s packaging/display requirements and verifies execution correctly and efficiently.
  • Assists in the preparation of trade shows including signage, mock-ups and promotional materials.
  • Determines product needs and expedites all efforts to determine package type required, designs and produces packaging artwork/illustrations for product instruction specific to the Wholesale/Wholesale Club Channel.
  • Works closely with copywriter, language translators, photographers, printers and product suppliers. Provides artwork quality control of new item shipments.
  • Collaborates with many teams on various issues on a regular basis.
  • Assists in the preparation of trade shows including signage, mock-ups and promotional materials.
  • Provides sales support for sales call preparation to include design and production of mockups and display materials.
  • Assists with and produces internal company needs including design and production of related meeting materials, various department forms, corporate materials, etc.
  • Design enhanced imagery for use on e-commerce websites that combines graphic elements and product photography.
  • Organizes retention of art files and materials.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in the area of graphic design or related field is required. 
  • A minimum of three years experience in Apple Macintosh usage is required. 
  • Additional experience in marketing, retail and/or merchandising is a plus.
  • Knowledge of artwork, graphic design and production, consumer electronics products, and photography. 
  • Skills in Apple Macintosh computers and Adobe applications. 
  • Ability to be flexible, manage multiple projects simultaneously, be creative, detail oriented, and work well with others. 
  • Ability to proofread artwork, instructions, surveys, packaging, and literature. 
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. 
  • Ability to write copy for literature, instructions and packaging, correspondence and presentations.
