Job Description

The Supervisor, Brand Experience (BE) manages the day-to-day media planning for their assigned account(s)/brands. They leverage their experience, knowledge, and skills to push fresh thinking to address client, agency, and team needs with the assistance of the senior staff. They work cross-functionally with internal teams, vendors, and clients to develop and execute multi-channel media plans. The Supervisor helps develop innovative strategies to meet and exceed client business objectives and provide actionable insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the planning, implementation and execution of digital and traditional media plans with heavy collaboration across digital, TV, social, and programmatic ensuring campaigns deliver on KPIs 
  • Collaborate and foster relationships with key partners including clients, internal teams, and leadership
  • Assist with planning initiatives including ideation, deck writing, budget and channel allocation, audience development, scheduling and establishing benchmarks for control
  • Client Budgets:
    • Manage client budgets, flowcharts, and the media authorization process, ensuring compliance and clear internal team and client communication.
    • Assist in troubleshooting and revising budgets, while communicating relevant impacts and solutions to the team.
  • Play a critical role in the development of media strategies & plans:
    • Support strategic solutions, audience outcomes, and senior brand experience team members in developing holistic paid, owned, and earned media strategies (e.g., audience approach, communications strategy, channel allocation, media flighting).
    • Create and evaluate full-funnel media plan budget scenarios using proprietary and syndicated tools, applications, historical performance, and audience insight.
    • Lead development and presentation of paid media tactical recommendations in partnership with internal team members, including developing and socializing internal cross-functional briefs.
    • Identify trends and derive insights from data for internal and client recommendations, reporting, and points of view (POVs).
    • Craft POVs on key category, competitive, client, and media opportunities.
  • Effectively manage projects & clients, and develop direct reports:
    • Develop and maintain team timelines for deliverables, ensuring effective communication of project updates and challenges.
    • Manage multiple workstreams, effectively allocating direct report resources day-to-day.
    • Oversee client status documents and lead client status meetings.
    • Assign cross-functional tasks within the OS.
    • Identify potential optimizations for agency and client processes, tools, and systems.
    • Perform quality assurance (QA) on work from associates, senior associates, and other internal team members.
    • Train and onboard associates and senior associates, supporting their growth and skill development, ensuring the completion of mandatory agency and position-based training
    • Manage and develop direct reports by conducting catch-ups, soliciting 360-degree feedback, and evaluating performance through wrap-up sessions as directed by Publicis.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in media planning experience across media channels
  • Previous team management experience is a plus
  • Resourceful, curious, and motivated individual with an ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities and deadlines; be able to identify and promote solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong understanding of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience working within media systems/platforms (Kantar, IMS, Media Tools Flowchart Software, R/F and Optimization Software, comScore, Prisma, Mbox, MRI/GfK, GWI) 
  • Strong knowledge of all cross-channel media, with a drive for curiosity and passion for the client's business
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new propriety software and processes quickly and proficiently
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to present to clients, maintain client correspondence and internal documentation
  • Understanding of activation/negotiation team functions and the capabilities of each media channel to maximize the impact and components within each campaign

 Compensation Range: USD $60,800.00 - USD $80,000.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
