Resident Assistant-Part Time/Full Time Description & Requirements Genesis Behavioral Services is currently recruiting Full and Part Time resident assistants for all shifts to work at our Community Based Residential Facilities. Resident Assistants are responsible for maintaining oversight of participants in our designated program locations that work in collaboration with the Department of Corrections. RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with counselors on patient plan of care and duties.

Notify the Executive Director of potential safety issues related to patients, equipment, or other staff. Intervenes in crisis situations, reporting to counselor and supervisor in case of emergency. Documents and reports observations and pertinent information concerning client behaviors, attitudes and interactions in the communication log.

Assist residents with their medications according to procedures. Communicates pertinent resident information to the appropriate clinical staff, families and referents when assigned. Answers phones, direct calls and take messages as assigned.

Participates in scheduled staff meetings and in-service activities. Performs all duties according to the facility's policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and Counselor.
