Job Summary

The Executive Assistant role at Tatcha provides professional support to our Chief Executive Officer. You'll be a trusted extension of the CEO, managing the rhythm of the executive office, enabling high-stakes decision-making, and ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks in an ever-evolving environment. You bring grace under pressure, a deep commitment to excellence, anticipate needs before they arise, and exercise exceptional judgment and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the CEO's ever-shifting calendar. Proactively manage priorities, resolve conflicts, and ensure the right time is protected for the right work.
  • Monitor, screen, respond to, and distribute incoming communications on behalf of the CEO.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and detailed itineraries.
  • Act as a trusted intermediary between the CEO and internal staff and external partners at all levels.
  • Anticipate the CEO's needs, keeping her well-informed of upcoming commitments, flagging time-sensitive matters, and following through without being asked.
  • Support with the preparation of executive communications, presentations, meeting agendas, and briefing materials.
  • Manage expense reports and handle confidential correspondence with discretion and professionalism.
  • Support the onboarding of new executive hires, including coordinating logistics and ensuring immersion into the Tatcha culture and ways of working.
  • Support the planning and execution of a wide range of events including executive team offsites and company-wide meetings.
  • Support other special projects and initiatives as directed by the CEO.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience supporting C-level/Senior Executives in a fast-paced environment, preferably at a beauty or luxury brand.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a firm grasp of business etiquette.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a calm, professional demeanor under pressure.
  • Global mindset with a respect and curiosity for other cultures and customs.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Comfortable taking initiative and anticipating needs.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365.
  • Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area and willing to work from our San Francisco HQ a minimum of two days per week.

The Details

The expected base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $110,000. The exact base pay is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.

This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan based on personal performance and company results.
