Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Reports To: Senior Project Executive, Technical
Location: Lawrenceville, Ga
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to be the main point of contact, and responsible for providing exceptional customer service when representing Outsource Consultants and its clients for long term projects to the DOB, DOT, and the Landmarks Preservation Commission. This position represents the primary point of contact on all New Building; Alteration Type I and Technical projects that are contracted by Outsource Consultants. The Technical Project Manager should be motivated, customer focused, able to multi-task and understand the necessities and construction life cycle of long term projects. Must be willing to be employed directly by our company on a W2 basis. No third-party agencies, C2C, or 1099 inquiries, please.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and provide clear, consistent project updates.
  • Manage projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring timelines, filings, and approvals stay on track.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, property owners, and internal teams.
  • Prepare, submit, and track DOB applications and permits (including NB and Alt-1).
  • Review plans for compliance with NYC Construction Codes and Zoning requirements.
  • Schedule and attend meetings with clients and city agencies as needed.
  • Resolve objections or disapprovals by coordinating corrections and responses with project stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized project records, documentation logs, and status trackers.
  • Issue change orders and ensure project scope aligns with the approved proposal.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and proactively address delays, risks, and client concerns.

Qualifications:
  • College degree preferred, but not required.• Knowledge of New Building, Alteration Types I, II, and III, Approvals, and Sign Offs.• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.• Customer service skills.• Proficient with MS Office.• Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Hands-on, can-do attitude.
  • Teamwork and strong inter-personal skills.
  • Attention to detail and follow-up.
  • Knowledge of Construction Codes.
  • 5+ years of expediting experience.
