Responsibilities

  • The Asian Specialty Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality Asian cuisine, ensuring consistency, presentation, and adherence to food safety standards. This role maintains kitchen operations, supports culinary staff, and delivers excellent guest dining experiences.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of Asian dishes according to recipes and quality standards
  • Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and plating of all menu items
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of workstations and kitchen equipment
  • Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs to management
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and regulatory guidelines at all times
  • Collaborate with culinary team to maintain consistent menu quality
  • Assist with training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff
  • Participate in menu development, recipe testing, and daily specials as needed
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and standards of excellence

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience as a cook specializing in Asian cuisine preferred
  • Knowledge of traditional cooking techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
