Job description

Position Summary

We’re seeking a highly organized, hands-on Part-Time Kitchen Manager / Chef to support daily operations in our commercial kitchen. This role is essential in keeping our kitchen running smoothly across food prep, sanitation, events, and culinary content production.

You’ll be part of everything from Academy classes and catering to recipe testing and filming—no two days are the same.


⏰ Schedule

  • 25–30 hours per week (Monday–Friday)
  • 10–12 Saturdays per year for Academy classes and special events
  • Early mornings (~5 AM) and late nights (~10 PM) during event days
  • Limited travel (6–8 overnight trips annually) to support events


What You’ll Do

Kitchen Operations & Sanitation

  • Maintain strict cleanliness and food safety standards
  • Oversee cleaning schedules for equipment, grills, and prep areas
  • Ensure seamless setup and breakdown of kitchen and event spaces


Food Prep & Inventory

  • Build and execute prep lists for production, events, and filming
  • Manage inventory using FIFO best practices
  • Maintain product levels to support uninterrupted operations


Events & Academy Support

  • Support Academy classes, catering, and activations
  • Maintain grill fleet and Academy deck (tents, tables, setup)
  • Assist with event execution on-site


Culinary & Content Support

  • Assist with recipe testing and product development
  • Support filming prep, food styling, and coordination
  • Collaborate with internal teams on culinary content


Travel

  • Occasional travel to support events and brand activations
