Shift: Day, 5x8-Hour (08:00 AM - 05:00 PM)
Job Overview:
Client is seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, proficiency with electronic health records (EHR), and the ability to effectively manage patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist patients with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Perform patient check-in and check-out procedures accurately.
  • Conduct patient registration and scheduling in accordance with system guidelines.
  • Scan and upload forms, IDs, and insurance cards into the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Collect applicable co-pays or co-insurance from patients, process self-pay patients per protocol.
  • Facilitate patient Telehealth visits or appointments outside the office when needed.
  • Answer incoming calls, redirecting or messaging as appropriate within the EHR system.
  • Verify insurance eligibility using automated systems for all payers.
  • Assist patients with enrollment into the Patient Portal.
  • Support medical record and referral department functions.
  • Perform other administrative or clinical support duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in medical office or healthcare administration preferred.
