Front Desk Receptionist (Temporary – Maternity Leave Coverage)

Position: Front Desk/Receptionist

Compensation: $25/hour

Job Type: Part-Time, Hourly, Temporary (3–4-month)

Schedule: 3 days = 20-24 hours/week

Location: Irvine - Trading Academy Center


About the Role

Trading Academy is seeking two professional, personable, and organized Front Desk Receptionists to join our Irvine team on a temporary basis. This position provides maternity leave coverage and is expected to last approximately 3-4 months. The two hires will choose one of two schedules, which together provide full coverage Monday through Friday at Irvine Trading Academy’s Fitch Avenue center.

As the first person visitors, students, and guests meet when they arrive, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming, professional experience while supporting the daily operations of our educational training center.

This position is an excellent fit for someone between permanent opportunities, returning to the workforce, or seeking a meaningful full-time temporary assignment with a collaborative, professional team.

What You'll Do
  • Welcome students, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Manage the front desk and reception area
  • Coordinate incoming mail, deliveries, and office supplies
  • Schedule conference rooms and assist with administrative projects
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment
What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of receptionist, front desk, hospitality, or administrative experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional, friendly, and dependable
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
