About the job Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant Temporary
We are looking for a medical receptionist that will greet patients, schedule appointments, and perform administrative tasks in a medical office in Montclair, CA. You will also help patients, doctors, and nurses, and keep the office running smoothly.
Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting patients: Welcome patients and their families when they arrive for appointments
  • Scheduling appointments: Schedule appointments and follow-ups for patients
  • Answering phone calls: Answer phone calls and emails from patients
  • Managing patient records: Prepare medical files, maintain patient information, and keep records confidential
  • Processing payments: Collect payments from patients and verify insurance
  • Assisting patients: Help patients fill out forms and answer questions
  • Maintaining the office: Keep the office organized, clean, and running smoothly
  • Communicating with insurance companies: Contact insurance companies and collect third-party claims
  • Transcribing notes: Transcribe notes from doctors
