Job Posting: Front Office Medical Receptionist
Location: Murrieta & Wildomar, CA

Join our fast-paced, dynamic Urology Practice!

We are a busy multi-location urology practice with offices in Murrieta and Wildomar, seeking a Front Office Medical Receptionist to join our team. If you are a motivated, compassionate, and organized individual with at least one year of experience in a front office medical setting, we want to hear from you!

The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. If you have a passion for patient care and a commitment to providing excellent customer service, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients, guests, and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Complete the check-in and check-out processes for daily patients, ensuring all required documentation (ID, insurance cards, consents, etc.) is collected and scanned.
  • Verify patient information, including insurance details, copays, and deductibles, ensuring accuracy prior to appointments.
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling and relay necessary prep information to patients.
  • Prepare charts, verify authorization requirements, and confirm insurance eligibility for appointments.
  • Facilitate communication with back office, patients, and other departments regarding care, medications, and supplies.
  • Uphold HIPAA privacy regulations when handling protected health information (PHI).
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, ensuring necessary supplies are stocked.
  • Answer incoming calls, address patient inquiries, and resolve concerns in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of billing logs (e.g., medications, services, medical records, etc.).
  • Provide support to management and other departments as needed to ensure smooth office operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a front office at a multi-physician medical office (medical receptionist experience is required).
  • Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO, PPO, copays, coinsurance, etc.) and medical terminology.
  • Experience with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and proficient computer skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma required; advanced education or certifications preferred.
  • BILINGUAL IN SPANISH A MUST
  • Experience in urology a plus.
