Job description

Lipton Law, a Southfield-based Personal Injury law firm, is seeking a full-time, in-office, enthusiastic Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our vibrant team of approximately 35 people in our Southfield, MI office. We need someone who takes pride in making people feel welcome, heard, and well cared for from the moment they walk through our doors or reach us by phone. You'll also support our talented remote team of attorneys, nurses, and paralegals, serving as a crucial link in our collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Answer a high volume of incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate staff member
  • Greet clients and guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and professional first impression of the firm
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing mail, including USPS, FedEx, Priority Mail, and other carriers
  • Perform copying, filing, faxing, and scanning duties as needed to support attorneys and staff
  • Assist attorneys and legal support staff with administrative tasks as requested
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area and common work areas
  • Order and replenish office supplies, keeping common areas and the front desk fully stocked
  • Coordinate pickups, deliveries, and firm errands as needed
  • Coordinate the catering needs of the office for both internal and external clients
  • Provide backup support to other administrative staff as needed
  • Assist with day-to-day office operations and take on additional projects as assigned

Essential Qualifications:
