Job description

Description:  Effective immediately the Child Nutrition Office will accept applications for the above Cashier/Kitchen Assistant position. The salary range for this position is $18.68  $21.39/hr. based on the 2024-2025 salary schedule between ISD #197 and SEIU Local #284.
Location: Two Rivers High School
Hours:  10:00 AM - 1:45 PM  (3.75 hours per day) Student Contact Days
Job Summary:







  • Assist in forecasting daily meal needs and may request products accordingly from the Production kitchen.
  • Assist with preparing and serving meals for students, staff and special functions.
  • Effectively operate the Point of Sale System and able to handle money and prepare bank deposits effectively
  • Ensures that each reimbursable meal sold meets USDA requirements.
  • Performs a variety of kitchen cleaning duties.
  • Assist with setting up serving line and serves meals according to meal patterns.
  • Projects a positive & professional image of themselves, their school and the Child Nutrition Dept. to all customers, staff and parents.
  • Complimentary meals 

Qualifications:
Must have the ability to work as a team member willing to perform any duties assigned to make the department run smoothly, and may be requested to work at other locations within the District.
