Your Impact: 

Formlabs is looking for a Finance & Operations Analyst to bridge our transactional finance operations and physical plant production. This role is designed for a systems-minded, highly organized professional who thrives at the intersection of accounting, data analysis, and manufacturing operations.

In this role you will spend your time maintaining foundational transactional accuracy and driving inventory control, Bill of Materials maintenance ("BOM"), and workflow optimization.

What You'll Do:

1. Accounts Payable & Employee Expenses

  • High-Speed Transactional Processing: Accurately process vendor invoices, credit notes, and employee Travel & Expense (T&E) reimbursement claims.
  • Dispute & Inquiry Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, reconciling outstanding balances and resolving processing blocks.

2. Inventory Production Data Entry & Integrity

  • Daily Performance Logging: Partner with the plant production team to gather and input daily manufacturing data including the material consumptions, general inventory adjustments into the ERP systems.
  • Production Sheet Integrity: Audit daily logs for discrepancies, missing records, or timing lags to ensure the team is working with 100% accurate plant-floor data.

3. Inventory Management, Costing & BOM Maintenance

  • BOM & Cost Maintenance: Support the maintenance of accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and item costs in the ERP, flagging structural discrepancies between planned and actual configurations.
  • Physical & Systemic Inventory Audits: Coordinate periodically inventory reconciliations, and research inventory counting variances.

4. Process Optimization & Analytical Support

  • Continuous Improvement Execution: Actively look for small, daily efficiencies. Partner with leadership to identify manual bottlenecks on both the accounting and plant sides.
  • Data Reporting & SOPs: Assist managers by pulling and formatting variance reports to provide leadership with the clean data needed to make strategic decisions.

About You:

  • You are energized by both office finance work and factory-floor operations. 
  • You enjoy working across teams (from accounting managers to production line workers) to close process loops.
  • You are highly receptive to feedback, eager to learn, and open-minded.
  • You enjoy learning how software applications integrate. You want to understand how data flows between Coupa, NetSuite,etc..
  • Demonstrated experience resolving transactional discrepancies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field is required
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in plant manufacturing environment with key focus on accounts payable, inventory management, cost accounting, and data analysis,.
  • Systems Exposure: Direct experience using mid-to-enterprise ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Hyperion HFM or QAD) and modern procurement databases (Concur or Coupa) is highly preferred.
  • BOM & Inventory Literacy: Solid foundational understanding of inventories, Bill of Materials configurations.
  • Excel / Google Sheets Proficiency: Intermediate spreadsheet skills (XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) to easily clean and analyze production databases and support management reporting.
