Sales Operations Analyst
Position Title: Sales Operations Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY
OPOC.us completed a full Salesforce implementation in June 2025. The Sales Operations function is now responsible for operating that platform, scaling the reporting built on it, and supporting a rapidly growing outbound sales organization.
The Sales Operations Analyst is the second position on this team. The role owns the recurring reporting and data operations that the sales organization depends on and contributes to CRM and lead operations. The position reports directly to the Director of Sales Operations and offers broad exposure across analytics, CRM administration, and go-to-market systems.
This position offers broader exposure than a comparable early-career role at a larger organization. Over the first year, the analyst will work across performance analytics, CRM operations, lead enrichment and deduplication, data quality, compliance operations, and an active platform buildout.
The environment is fast-moving and priorities shift as the platform matures. Candidates who work well with ambiguity and can operate with limited direction will be most successful.
POSITION WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION
Sales Operations sits within the sales organization and is responsible for data, analytics, and go-to-market systems - the accuracy, interpretation, and delivery of the metrics the sales floor operates against.
You will partner with the IT team that is separately responsible for platform engineering, including custom development, integrations, and release infrastructure. Sales Operations partners closely with sales leadership, the internal IT team, and our external implementation partners. This role provides regular exposure to each, but the position itself is an analytics and operations role rather than a development role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Other duties may be assigned as business needs require.
Reporting and Analytics Approximately half of the role.
• Build and maintain weekly performance reporting for the sales organization, covering call activity, meetings booked and held, conversion rates, and goal attainment
• Produce team-level and representative-level KPI reporting on weekly and monthly cadences
• Reconcile data across multiple system exports, resolving duplicates, name variants, and data gaps prior to reporting
• Build and maintain Salesforce reports, dashboards, and custom report types, expanding self-service reporting for the sales organization
• Investigate and explain variance in reported metrics
• Document methodology and assumptions for all recurring reporting
Salesforce Operations
• Execute data loads and mass updates using Data Loader, following sandbox-first practice
• Maintain record hygiene and manage duplicate records within the platform
• Test and validate new functionality prior to release
Lead Operations
• Execute and monitor deduplication, enrichment, and suppression workflows in ZoomInfo Operations (RingLead)
• Support lead ingestion from multiple data sources and association partners
• Monitor lead scoring model output and escalate anomalies
• Support Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and Do Not Call (DNC) compliance operations
User Support and Enablement
• Resolve tier-2 issues routed through the case queue, including troubleshooting, data corrections, and access requests
• Coordinate with designated sales super users, who handle basic navigation and how-to questions, and escalate platform defects to the IT team
• Maintain standard operating procedures and quick-reference materials
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
• At least One year of experience in an analytical, operations, or CRM-adjacent role, including sales operations, marketing operations, business analysis, reporting, or data coordination
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, lookup functions, nested logic, and multi-tab workbook construction. A practical exercise is included in the interview process.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce, including report building and an understanding of objects and record relationships
• Demonstrated ability to reconcile data across systems where records do not match cleanly
• Practical proficiency with generative AI tools and a working understanding of how to apply them to analytical, documentation, and process tasks
• Sound judgment in evaluating AI-generated output, including the ability to validate results against source data and recognize when output should not be relied upon
• Clear written communication, including the ability to explain analytical findings to non-technical audiences
Preferred
• Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator, or actively pursuing certification
• Experience with deduplication or enrichment tooling such as ZoomInfo, RingLead, LeanData, Openprise, or Cloudingo
• Familiarity with dialer, CTI, or call activity data
• Exposure to Tableau or Power BI; deep proficiency is not expected at this level
• Experience applying AI tools to reporting, data validation, or documentation workflows in a business setting

We place significant weight on demonstrated self-direction - evidence of independently learning new tools, building solutions that were not assigned, or identifying data issues before they were raised by others.
WHAT WE OFFER
• Direct mentorship. The role reports to a Director with end-to-end Salesforce implementation experience, with regular exposure to our implementation partner's senior technical team and the internal IT team.
• Defined growth path. The position is structured to progress toward a Senior Sales Operations Analyst role as the function scales.
Compensation. Base salary of $60,000 to $75,000 depending on experience.

FIRST-YEAR EXPECTATIONS
Timeframe Expected Progress
  • Days 1-30 Develop working knowledge of the Salesforce org, data model, and reporting layer. Observe weekly reporting and commission cycles.
  • Days 30-60 Independently produce weekly performance reporting. Support the reporting cycle under supervision.
  • Days 60-90 Assume tier-2 support and lead operations responsibilities. Begin identifying process improvements independently.
  • Months 4-6 Own lead operations execution and monitoring. Contribute to testing and release validation. Begin solutioning operational improvements.
  • Months 6-12 Serve as primary owner of recurring reporting and data operations. Begin executing operational improvements.
