Title: Inventory Controller / Inventory Assistant โ€“ Supply Chain | Shipping & Receiving | Warehouse Inventory | Lab Operations

Location: Onsite โ€“ Knoxville, TN

Duration: Contract โ€“ 12 Months

Inventory Controller supporting supply chain operations, shipping & receiving, inventory control, and material handling within a laboratory environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, supplies, specimens, and equipment

  • Manage inventory control processes including stock organization, inventory tracking, and material distribution

  • Receive and reconcile incoming shipments against packing lists; document receipts and maintain accurate logs

  • Prepare outgoing shipments, organize materials for distribution, and maintain shipping and inventory records

  • Troubleshoot inbound and outbound shipment delays and coordinate resolution activities

  • Perform administrative tasks using computer systems, applications, and tracking tools for inventory and logistics operations

  • Maintain storage areas, ensure inventory accuracy, and enforce inventory security and accountability

  • Follow SOPs, safety protocols, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines including PPE usage

  • Handle bio-hazardous materials safely and support lab compliance requirements

  • Support facility maintenance tasks including lab, grounds, and operational upkeep as assigned
