NOW HIRING: PHARMACY TECHNICIAN TRAINEE – 2ND SHIFT

No previous pharmacy experience required.


CLIENT OVERVIEW:

Our client, a Global Fortune 50 organization and one of the world’s largest distributors of healthcare systems, medical supplies, and pharmaceutical products, is seeking detail-oriented candidates for a Pharmacy Technician Trainee opportunity in Jeffersonville, Indiana.


POSITION OVERVIEW:

  • Job Title: Warehouse Assistant/Inventory Clerk - Pharmacy Technician Trainee – 2nd Shift
  • Location: Onsite at Jeffersonville, IN 47130
  • Duration: 5-month assignment with the possibility of extension
  • Pay Rate: $19.23 per hour, W2


WORK SCHEDULE

  • Monday: 1:00 PM–11:30 PM
  • Tuesday – Friday: 2:00 PM–11:00 PM
  • Saturday: 12:00 PM–8:30 PM


ABOUT THE ROLE

  • This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in warehouse picking, order fulfillment, inventory, distribution, material handling, or quality inspection who are interested in starting a career in pharmacy.
  • Selected candidates must be willing to obtain an Indiana Pharmacy Technician in Training License within two weeks of their start date or work toward earning the National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Medication Fulfillment:

  • Prepare and label prescription medications
  • Count, measure, and package medications accurately
  • Replenish automated dispensing equipment
  • Maintain organized medication storage areas

Picking and Order Fulfillment:

  • Pick medications accurately using system prompts
  • Confirm correct product selection
  • Verify product labels and quantities
  • Maintain high productivity and accuracy standards

Inventory Management:

  • Perform stock rotation
  • Support inventory replenishment
  • Help maintain inventory accuracy

Compliance:

  • Follow HIPAA requirements
  • Adhere to federal, state, and pharmacy regulations
  • Maintain patient confidentiality
  • Complete required documentation accurately


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: Warehouse picking, Order fulfillment, Inventory, Distribution centers, Pharmacy, Shipping and receiving, Quality inspection, and/or Material handling


Pharmacy experience is preferred but not required. Strong warehouse picking, fulfillment, inventory, or quality inspection experience will be considered.
