Shipping and Inventory Coordinator

Location: Edmonton, AB (Onsite)T5L 2H1
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:15 AM – 4:30 PM (1-hour lunch)
Contract Length: Sept 2026 – May 30, 2027

Incorp rate: $29.45/hr

T4 rate: $23-$24/hr

Overview
We are seeking a Shipping and Inventory Coordinator to support warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment activities. This role requires a physically fit individual who can perform administrative tasks while also assisting with warehouse duties and operating material handling equipment such as a reach truck.


The successful candidate will support the onboarding and organization of approximately 5,200 square feet of inventory resources consisting of 377 titles during a warehouse transfer project.
Accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to safety procedures are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
Shipping & Order Fulfillment
• Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately within 24–48 hours or established service timelines.
• Track shipments and maintain accurate records for all outgoing orders.
• Coordinate bulk distribution of materials when required.
• Maintain shipping data including waybill numbers, shipment quantities, serialized ranges, and special instructions.


Inventory & Warehouse Operations
• Receive stock shipments, verify quantities, and ensure documentation is submitted within 24 hours of receipt.
• Maintain organized warehouse storage and inventory tracking systems.
• Perform cyclical inventory counts and reconciliation of stock materials.
• Assist with general warehouse duties and stock organization.


Equipment Operation & Safety
• Safely operate reach trucks and other material handling equipment in a controlled warehouse environment using required PPE.
• Follow all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines and procedures.
• Participate in warehouse safety inspections and Joint Health and Safety Committee activities.
Administrative & Customer Support
• Maintain and update shipping databases and inventory systems daily.
• Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders via phone, email, or in person.
• Provide administrative support related to warehouse operations and shipping documentation.

Requirements
• Ability to lift boxes up to 35 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods (lifting, bending, reaching).• Experience operating reach trucks or material handling equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong computer skills and ability to navigate databases and inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• CSA-approved safety boots required while working in the warehouse.
