Job description

Applicant must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver license. The Temporary Marketing Program Assistant will facilitate planning, coordinating and conducting marketing and special event programs for the Parks and Recreation Department. This includes assisting in the creation of flyers, advertisements, television slides, photography for print and electronic mediums, assisting in the layout/design of department activities guide, as well as the development, coordination and implementation of special events. This position will perform desktop publishing using the computer. Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva as well as Microsoft Office especially Word and Excel. Knowledge of Microsoft videotaping/editing is desired.
