The Assistant Category Manager position focusing on our 4X4; Jeep; Off Road; and Suspension Division; Wheel, and Tire Division; or Commercial, Fleet, Snow and Ice Equipment Division is responsible providing your client with customer focused insights regarding the product and category. Creating and developing a long-term plan and strategy for development of the category.
Education/Certification(s):
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent of years in experience

Experience:
  • Job related experience within specialized field with increasing levels of responsibility is required.
  • Training - Minimum of one month on the job training required.

Requirements for the Inside Sales - Assistant Category Manager:
  • Solid knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles
  • Knowledge of one or more categories: 4X4; Jeep; Off Road; Suspension; Wheel, and Tire; Commercial; Fleet; or Snow and Ice Equipment
  • Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
  • Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and team management skills
  • Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
