Alternate Hybrid locations maybe considered at Raritan, NJ (USA); West Chester, PA (USA); Palm Beach Gardens, FL (USA); Raynham, MA (USA); Warsaw, IN (USA); Zuchwil, Switzerland or Loughbeg, Ringaskiddy Ireland.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business toestablisha standalone orthopedics company,operatingas DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation isanticipatedto be completed within 18 to24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may berequired, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Job Overview

Reporting into the Strategy & Transformation group within global operations, the Director, Leadership & Learningis responsible forshaping and delivering enterprise leadership development and learning strategiesacross the global operations functional landscapethat build critical capabilities, strengthen leadership pipelines, and support business transformation across DePuy Synthes. This role partners closely with senior leaders, Human Resources, and business stakeholders to design scalable,datadrivenleadership development programs andlearningpathwaysthat enable performance, engagement, andlongtermgrowth. The position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact byattracting key talent andadvancing leadership effectiveness during a pivotal period of organizational evolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of enterprise leadershipdevelopment programsandfunctionallearning strategies aligned to DePuy SynthesSupply Chain & Operationsbusiness priorities and talent strategy.

  • Design and overseefunctionally focused globalleadership development programs across levels, including seniorleaderand emerging leader populations.

  • Partner with senior business,HR, and trainingleaders toidentifyfunctionalcapability gaps and translate them into targeted learning solutions.

  • Lead the globaltraining and certifications processto upskill workforce in criticaloperationalskillsets and methodologies,e.g.Lean, Six Sigma, project management, change management

  • Establish and govern learning frameworks, curricula, and standards to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability.

  • Drive innovation in learning delivery through blended, digital, and experiential approaches,leveragingexternal vendors and internalexpertise.

  • Measure and evaluateleadership and learningeffectiveness using data and insights to continuously improve programs anddemonstratebusiness impact.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

  • Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships to ensurecosteffectiveandhighqualitylearning solutionsand leadership development programs.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degreerequired(Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business,Operations,Supply Chain,or related field).

  • Master's degree preferred (e.g., Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, MBA, or related discipline).

Experience and Skills

Required:

  • 10-12 years of progressive experience inglobal leadership positionsin Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, HR, or related functions.

  • Demonstrated experience designing and leadinglargescaleleadership, employee engagement, corporate culture,and/orlearning initiatives.

  • Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leaders andcrossfunctionalstakeholders.

  • Strongpeopleleadership experience, including coaching, developing, and leadingindividuals and leaders.

  • Experience supporting leadership development in a global, matrixed organization.

  • Strong strategic thinking, execution, and change leadership capabilities.

  • Demonstrated experience managing external partners and vendors.

  • Results-oriented leader with experience driving high impact, high visibilityprogramsand initiatives

Preferred:

  • Expertise inadult learning principles, leadership frameworks, and learning measurement methodologies.

  • Experience with digital learning platforms, learning analytics, and modern learning technologies.

  • Lean, Six Sigma, and/or project management certifications preferred

  • Leadership development, coaching, or learning certifications preferred (e.g., ICF, SHRM, ATD).

  • Background in MedTech, healthcare, life sciences, or similarly regulated industries.

$150,000.00 - $258,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation -120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave - 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
