In this position you would be responsible for advising and greeting customers; listening to their description of the problems or service needed, determine the type of service required and prepare repair orders. If a vehicle requires additional repairs not covered in the original order, you would estimate the additional cost and telephone the customer for permission to do the work. You would report directly to the Service Director.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of Automotive Service Advisor/Writing necessary
  • Minimum 1 year of Automotive diagnostic, preferred
  • Working knowledge and experience of automotive products, repairs, and parts
  • Valid California Sales License, required
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate customers' needs to workable technician orders
  • Strong writing and typing skills
  • All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
  • Ability to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver's license.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under shop insurance policy (Not an excluded driver)
  • Bilingual preferred but not required.

Essential Duties, but not limited to:
  • Follows all company processes and procedures
  • Advises customers of necessary services, repairs, and benefits
  • Maintains our company standards of gross profit production and customer satisfaction.
  • Always communicating internally and externally with other departments, employees, and vendors
  • Updating and communicating with customers in a timely manner
  • Complies with all rules and regulations as required
