About the Role:
As an Area Leasing Consultant, you'll be at the forefront of our leasing efforts, using your sales skills to engage prospective residents, showcase our luxury apartment homes, and drive occupancy. Your goal is to understand customer needs, highlight the value of our community, and deliver an outstanding experience that turns prospects into residents.
Compensation and Commission:
Hourly: Starting at $19.48 - $24.34 per hour depending on years of experience, tenure, and location. Annual Starting Comp: $40,518 - $50,627.
Bonus: Average monthly bonus potential of $1,000 - $1,500, based on performance, with an average annual potential of $12,000 - $18,000.
Total Annual Compensation Potential:
  • $52,518 ($40,518 base + $12,000 bonus)
  • $68,627 ($50,627 base + $18,000 bonus)
What You'll Do:
  • Sell the lifestyle-Engage with potential residents, provide personalized property tours, and highlight the unique features of our apartment homes.
  • Close the deal-Leverage your sales expertise to convert leads into leases, meet or exceed leasing goals, and maximize occupancy.
  • Build relationships-Maintain a pipeline of prospects through follow-ups, calls, and outreach to generate leads and referrals.
  • Create a seamless customer journey-Guide prospects through the leasing process, ensuring they have all the information needed to make a confident decision.
  • Stay ahead of the competition-Monitor market trends, track competitor offerings, and use data-driven insights to adjust sales strategies.
  • Enhance community visibility-Collaborate on marketing efforts, social media campaigns, and outreach initiatives to attract new residents.

The Area Leasing Consultant is responsible for all aspects of rental income, including showing and leasing apartments through effective selling and closing techniques. A successful Area Leasing Specialist I has a thorough knowledge of all the communities, competition and current market.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Saturdays 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
  • Become an expert on our communities and the local area to engage prospects and deliver great tours.
  • Showcase model and vacant apartments, highlighting key features and benefits.
  • Implement follow-up and closing techniques to maximize lease conversions.
  • Plan resident events and ensure high resident satisfaction through responsive customer service.
  • Use creative outreach (calls, emails, corporate visits) to generate leads and drive occupancy.
  • Assist with promotional programs, online advertising, and social media outreach.

Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of sales experience in retail, hospitality, or multifamily housing.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills: college degree preferred.
