Job description

Systems Analyst, Laboratory Applications
Job Purpose/Summary
The Systems Analyst, Laboratory Applications is responsible for technical work related to laboratory systems and supporting activities including project management, training, and support. This includes configuring systems, maintaining documentation, and training of IT staff and end users.
What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Manage the routine activities and configuration related to all laboratory applications
  • Install, configure, maintain, and support assigned laboratory systems
  • Effectively manage projects to completion on time and on budget
  • Provide high-level customer service, promptly responding to end user requests for support, including troubleshooting, problem solving, report development, training, or system enhancements and correction testing
  • Analyze issues and problems reported by users and identifies solutions
  • Train end users on new technologies and enhancements to laboratory systems
  • Perform disaster recovery testing and documentation
  • Maintain necessary documentation as required by CTI SOPs, including those required for 21 CFR Part 11 validation compliance and lab certifications
  • Proactively identify areas where technology can improve laboratory processes and end user productivity
  • Provide onsite support to local CTI employees for computer system hardware, software, and telecommunications
  • Procure and install all new electronic devices such as PCs; set up as required
  • Assist with implementing and supporting third party applications
  • Assist with testing and validation
  • Manage inventory of IT equipment and supplies; replenish as needed, while aggressively watching the budget
What You Bring
  • Working knowledge of LIMS development, forms development, workflow management, and instrument integration
  • Able to work closely with system users with all levels of experience
  • Ability to work within project budgets and complete deliverables in a timely manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including ability to promote teamwork and ensure high degree of internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Ability to develop, prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to provide superior level of customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • 5 years of experience managing Information Technology systems
  • Working experience with SQL and reporting systems
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Thorough and current understanding of LabWare LIMS Management.
  • Experience in a help desk environment
  • Fluent in English
