Minimum 5 Years experience in Application Engineering
Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located in the Metro Detroit area. The ideal candidates should have experience dealing with internal as well as customer teams. Background in fluid systems is ideal.
Requirements of the Applications Engineer
  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 5-10yrs of experience in fluid system processing and equipment
  • Experience with HVAC systems and fuel systems
  • Automotive Industry Experience
  • CAD skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Effective time management, organization and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities of the Applications Engineer
  • Ability to organize and take the lead on the Application Engineering of products and
    programs in order to meet company goals and objectives.
  • Serve customers by identifying their needs; engineering adaptations of products, and
    services.
  • Technical interface with customer to develop production feasible solutions for various
    tubing/fluid systems applications
  • Technical interfaces with design, manufacturing plants, testing, sales, program
    management, purchasing and suppliers
  • Development and implementation of creative cost-effective solutions to technical,
    performance, quality and durability problems discovered during development of new
    products
  • Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) & Product Launch of new assemblies.
  • New product design reviews

  • Bill of Material generation
