Job description

Imagine what you could do here. At Apple, new ideas have a way of becoming extraordinary products, services and customer experiences very quickly. Bring passion and dedication to your job and there's no telling what you could accomplish. The people here at Apple don't just build products - we create the kind of wonder that's revolutionized entire industries. It's the diversity of those people and their ideas that encourages the innovation that runs through everything we do, from amazing technology to industry-leading environmental efforts. Join Apple and help us leave the world better than we found it.
The Worldwide Logistics SCOPE team drives strategy and execution across global Supply Chain, Outbound, Packaging and Emissions programs, a portfolio spanning cost, speed, sustainability and operational excellence across Apple's complex logistics networks. The Emissions pillar owns Apple's transportation decarbonization roadmap and programs that drive measurable progress toward Apple 2030 - our carbon neutrality goal.
Reporting to the WW Logistics & Supply Chain Manager we're looking for a Senior Program Manager to own the transportation roadmap. With clear direction and programs in motion, this role is about driving execution, identifying new opportunities to accelerate progress, and building the program structures needed to turn those opportunities into results. From packaging and fulfillment efficiencies to global supplier accountability and emerging decarbonization technologies, this role shapes how Apple moves goods around the world more sustainably. Beyond Emissions, this role serves as a strategic program management resource across the SCOPE team portfolio.
The right candidate brings exceptional program management skills, quantitative rigor and the ability to drive outcomes when the path isn't fully clear. Deep domain expertise in sustainability is not required; curiosity, adaptability and the drive to become a subject matter expert are. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable in a strategy session, a complex spreadsheet, or a discussion about what it will actually take to decarbonize global freight - and is motivated by all three.
Description
Typical responsibilities will include but not be limited to
Emissions Decarbonization Strategy & Execution:
• Own and execute Apple's transportation decarbonization roadmap across global and cross-functional partner teams, managing progress against 2030 emissions reductions targets
• Enhance and manage Apple's transportation supplier engagement program, including target-setting, reporting cycles, accountability mechanisms and supplier-facing communications
• Calculate and size the carbon impact of new programs and product changes, supporting forecast and actuals tracking across transportation emissions and serving as a resource for partner teams
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Apple's transportation decarbonization progress in external communications and reporting, including progress shared on apple.com/2030
Cross-functional Program Management:
• Provide strategic program management support across SCOPE pillars - operationalizing new workstreams, identifying and improving cross-functional dependencies and maintaining team management systems
• Drive executive reviews across program areas, including materials development and logistics, to communicate status, risks and strategic recommendations
• Synthesize regulatory and policy developments, ensuring that emerging requirements are integrated into program strategy
Minimum Qualifications
10-12+ years of experience in program management or operations
BS/BA in supply chain, logistics, sustainability, analytics or related field
Demonstrated ability to independently own and drive multiple complex, high-visibility programs in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in supply chain, logistics or sustainability
Strong analytical skills with comfort navigating ambiguous data to size opportunities, identify trends and inform strategic decisions
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with demonstrated executive presence
Proven ability to build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships across matrixed organizations
Comfortable creating structure and driving momentum in ambiguous environments where priorities evolve
Experience with generative AI tools for research, analysis or productivity a plus
Advanced degree (MBA or relevant master's)
