Retail and Marcom Engineering, an IS&T team, builds and operates the systems and experiences that connect Apple's products with its customers. The team owns the technology behind both Apple's online and physical stores and drives the interactive marketing experiences and tools that keep creative operations moving. Together, those functions deliver the technology behind every product story Apple tells and every purchase a customer makes.
Description
The Marcom Engineering Productivity group builds the internal tools that empower teams across Apple to deliver world-class marketing pages on apple.com. We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our team to shape and grow our content authoring platform. Key features of this platform include WYSIWYG page building, AI-assisted content authoring, and workflows that accelerate our web page delivery process. In this role, you’ll work across the full stack, including React component front-end interfaces, Next.js server-side rendering, and Node.js microservices. You’ll have direct influence in how Apple delivers amazing product experiences on the web.","responsibilities":"Design, develop, and maintain features across our internal content authoring platform, spanning UI building, server-side rendering, and backend services
Build and improve WYSIWYG and AI-assisted authoring workflows that streamline how teams create and publish marketing content for apple.com

Write clean, testable, well-documented TypeScript code and participate in thorough code reviews

Preferred Qualifications
Experience deploying and operating production Node.js microservices

Experience integrating LLM-driven agentic capabilities into user-facing applications
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containers, Kubernetes, and cloud native infrastructure
Developed production web applications for high traffic / high visibility sites
Strong communication skills and experience collaborating in enterprise scale cross-functional teams
Minimum Qualifications
3 years of professional software engineering experience
Proficiency in TypeScript
Experience building applications with Node.js, React, and server-side rendering frameworks (next.js or similar)
Familiarity with modern front-end development practices (component-based architecture, state management, responsive design)
Experience with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
BS/MS in Computer Science or similar degree, or equivalent practical experience
