Summary:


We are seeking a driven, self-motivated Part-Time Sales Representative to support lead generation and business development for our custom embroidered apparel division. This role is ideal for someone with proven sales experience who thrives on building relationships, generating new opportunities, and working independently.

This position offers flexible, part-time hours with a compensation structure that includes base pay plus commission.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business through proactive lead generation, outreach, and networking.

  • Identify and build relationships with target markets.

  • Conduct outreach via phone, email, in-person visits, and networking events.

  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads.

  • Clearly communicate product offerings and customization options to prospective clients.

  • Follow up consistently on leads and opportunities to drive conversions.

  • Track and manage all sales activities and contacts using company systems.

  • Collaborate with internal team members to ensure smooth order handoff and customer satisfaction.

  • Represent the company professionally in all interactions

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Proven sales experience (required) with a strong focus on lead generation.

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Confidence in building relationships and initiating conversations.

  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).

  • Organized with consistent follow-through on leads and tasks.

  • Ability to handle rejection and remain persistent.

  • Basic computer skills and comfort using CRM or sales tracking tools.

Education and Experience:
  • Experience in B2B sales or promotional products/apparel sales.

  • Existing networks within target industries is a plus.

  • Knowledge of MWBE NYS contracting is a plus.

  • Strong work ethic with a dependable and professional attitude.

Physical Requirements:
  • Sufficient mobility to enter and exit a vehicle frequently throughout the day.

  • Ability to use a phone and computer for extended periods while performing sales and administrative tasks.

  • Clear verbal communication skills for in-person and phone interactions.
