Job description

Production Graphic Designer – Collegiate Apparel

Location: Kannapolis, NC (On-site)

Employment Type: Full-Time

About Us:

We specialize in designing and producing licensed collegiate apparel for women, with a strong focus on stylish, trend-forward T-shirts and sweatshirts. Our Kannapolis-based team works closely with universities and retail partners to deliver high-quality merchandise that fans love. We’re looking for a Production Graphic Designer to help bring our designs to life through screen printing and apparel-ready artwork.

Position Overview:

As our Production Graphic Designer, you’ll play a key role in preparing artwork for screen printing and ensuring every graphic is optimized for apparel production. This role is a good fit for someone with production design experience who’s comfortable working within brand guidelines, managing detailed file prep, and working in a fast paced work environment.


Responsibilities:

Execute layout revisions and design adjustments based on direction from senior designers and design managers or licensing

Ensure accuracy and consistency of final design files during the production phase

Develop working CADs and mockups to visualize design application across apparel styles

Collaborate with the creative team and production staff to ensure artwork accuracy and timely delivery

Maintain organized file management and version control for hundreds of SKUs

Qualifications:

A Degree in Graphic Design or 1–2 years of hands-on experience in apparel graphics or screen printing

Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and file setup skills

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines

Preferred Skills:

Experience with licensed merchandise or collegiate apparel

Familiarity with the screen print production process

Interest in women’s fashion or trend-based retail design
