Export Coordinator/Logistics
Long Term Temporary (6 months)
Pay: $25.00 per hour

SUMMARY
We are seeking a data-driven and detail-oriented International Logistics Analyst to oversee and optimize our global supply chain operations. In this role, you will be the bridge between our international suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers and internal as well as external stakeholders. You will analyze shipping data, ensure 100% compliance with trade regulations, and manage the end-to-end movement of goods across borders.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
· Logistics Coordination: Plan and track international shipments (Ocean, Air, and Road), ensuring timely delivery and proactive communication regarding delays.
· Broker & Vendor Oversight: Act as the main liaison for customs brokers and freight forwarders, monitoring their performance and resolving clearance issues promptly.
· Compliance Management: Overview timely classification of products using HTS codes and ensure all import/export documentation—such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin—complies with global trade laws. If/when needed enters HTS classification requests.
· Cost Analysis: Audit freight invoices, analyze shipping rates, and identify opportunities for cost savings through carrier consolidation or route optimization.
· Supplier development: Create and/or maintain new/existing freight suppliers in the selected ERP system.
· Process Improvement: Utilize ERP systems and data visualization tools to create reports on KPIs like transit times, landed costs, and port dwell times.
· On-time delivery: Update expected delivery dates and distribute back-order reports internally and externally.

BACKGROUND & SKILLS
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, or a related field.
· Experience: 3+ years of experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or global trade compliance.
· Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) and experience with ERP software, SAP preferred.
· Expertise: Solid understanding of Incoterms, Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS), and Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) guidelines.
· Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting global priorities.
· Preferred Qualifications: Certification such as APICS CSCP, CLTD, or a Customs Broker License.
