Accounting Coordinator (AIA Billing, AP/AR, Construction Accounting)
Full-Time | Onsite | Flexible Hiring Options (Direct Hire or Contract-to-Hire)
Our team is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to join a collaborative and supportive accounting department. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with experience in accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and billing, particularly within a construction or project-based environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions
  • Support and execute billing processes, including AIA billing
  • Handle documentation and compliance related to lien waivers
  • Assist with general accounting operations and financial recordkeeping
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including payroll and accounting staff
  • Utilize accounting software/ERP systems to maintain accurate data
Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of accounting experience, specifically in AP, AR, and billing
  • Experience in construction accounting or project-based accounting strongly preferred
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • AIA billing
    • Lien waivers
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with ERP systems or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
Compensation & Schedule
  • Salary range: $60,000-$70,000 (flexible based on experience)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, standard business hours (approx. 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
  • Fully onsite role with some flexibility for start times
  • Occasional remote flexibility for appointments
